A 63 year old grandmother Mrs Rasoolan Bibi who was arrested in a crackdown on asylum seekers and refugees in Thailand days before Christmas (19th December 2019) is seeking help to escape the brutal detention she is suffering in Bangkok's infamous Immigration Detention Centre. Rasoolan suffers with Eczema, Arthritis and hypertension and survivor and has high blood pressure. In India celebrities Farah Khan, Raveena Tandon and Bharti Singh were booked by Amritsar police for “hurting religious sentiments” after Indian Christians led by Sonu Jafar, president of the Christian Front of Ajnala Block. A Christmas service of prayer, worship and fellowship was organised by British Asian Christian Association, to heal the emotional scars dealt to the Christian community at Youhanabad, Lahore, since a terror attack on Sunday 15th March 2015. The community here has struggled to come to terms with the attack as events in the aftermath made them targets for more persecution.
